Sounds killer. How much did it run out the door if you don't mind me asking? I like the NPP but wish it was a little louder with more burble.

Soooooo....when valves are open, it bypasses the muffler and sounds like a normal NPP system.

When the valves are closed, it forces the exhaust to pass through the Flowmasters?

If I'm correct you've made the car louder when the valves are closed?

That is exactly what I was thinking. Now there is NO quiet mode. Those Outlaws are LOUD.

With them open its sounds nothing like the normal NPP system. Closed it does pass through the Flowmasters. In person its not too loud, when doing normal driving, at WOT its going to be a lot louder opened or closed. I was not trying to make it quieter at all with valves closed at all. I wanted straight pipe if I wanted, and muffled a bit with them closed. You can't tell a big difference in the video but in person it is night and day.

Both mufflers cost me about $218, to get the work done cost 250.

So are you planning on getting the Borla x pipe or not ? I just ordered Borlas X Pipe with second cat delete and AFM delete for my car . I will connect them to the NPP muffler and see how I like it . If I want louder I will do the outlaws . I had them on my 5th gen also.

He replaced the "quiet" part of NPP with Flowmaster Outlaws. In the photo the Flowmasters are the black fat tubes on the inside. Straight pipes with NPP valves are on the outside. When he closes the valves it forces all exhaust through the Flowmasters. No stealth mode anymore.

I cut off my NPP muffler, Left the valves and tips there, added a straight pipe on the side of the NPP valves and Flowmaster Outlaw Mufflers to the side without the NPP valves.

The two "loud" tailpipes with valves in the factory NPP do not completely bypass the muffler like the cutouts in the OP"s system. The OP's set-up is louder in both settings.
