Since this retains filter location and apparently the stock tubing, is this CARB exempt?

When will this be available? Does it void warranty?

Nothing voids a warranty unless it is proven by the manufacturer to have caused the problem you are requesting warranty work for.

No matter what the dealer says,. This is federal law.

Good luck fighting that case. It all depends on what your dealer will allow you, and if they can get it by without gm knowing. if you calibrate your car it's a shut and closed case, no way to fight them on a recalibration, you're messing with their software. But an intake filter a dealer will most likely ignore it. Or you could always ask in advance to avoid any hassle. The last thing anyone want is to be dealing with legal issues because of a 10 crank horsepower bolt on. Having gm stretch out the repair when it should've been a simple warranty replacement.
