0-60 videos

So my excesses for the bad times first
I came out to my car this morning and the passenger side rear tire was at 2psi so these runs are on cold tires at 42psi. Didn't want to warm them up and risk a blow out but I've been meaning to take videos for a while.
So 2 runs on cold over inflated tires 116 degrees out.

You can see and hear that no spin is necessary, you just want the car to be able to get all its power to the ground as quickly as possible.
When I get my new tires I'll try to make a 3.6 video with a better view of the tachometer.
Also I'll use a video editor to make the videos shorter and remember to turn down the music.

Appreciate the posts! Haven't tried timing mine yet, going to have to do so sometime soon.

Dude, dust of that column!

Nice man, thanks for the videos! Great shifting, would love to see you take it to a 1/4 mile track and see how you do.

Thank you very much

The only track close to me is a 1/8th
I went there and made 2 runs but the track is so bad I left. When I shifted into second there was so much wheel spin I almost flew into the wall. Didn't finish either run so I'm not even sure on my 1/8th time.
I did just get a obd2 reader and plan on checking out my 1/8th with that once I get my new tire on.

This is the first thing I noticed. To each his own, but I keep a microfiber cloth in the car and dust it nearly each day..

Dumb question here but how does the timer come on? Does this automatically happen in Launch mode? Under my accessories feature I do not see a timer. Thanks.

Very nice. Makes me want to practice! I've done my best with a 2,000 RPM launch, as well. Although I do kinda feel sorry for the motor--running it close to redline when it's over 110 degrees out. Same problem here in Phoenix.

Looks like you had some wheel spin the 2nd run. Thanks for the vids.

Dayum. Good job.

It's not too often you find a manufacturer under reporting their product - but you and others are hitting 3.9 when they claim 4.3 for this car. That rules.

Yeah both of them spun into 60 mph quite a bit. Thats the problem with these timers. Every time I shift quickly from 1-2 it will spin the tires, no matter the condition, and it trips the timer. Someone needs to try a GPS timer instead.

Speed shot up, timer did not stop. Had the timer stopped I would not had needed to continue in second gear.
Significant wheel spin? Are you watching with the sound on? You can hear a small chirp.
If you are shifting the camaro quickly you get no more than a chirp.
