From rail yard to truck it took mine about 3 to 4 days to arrive at the dealer. A word of advice depending on how you ordered it with options and your dealer make sure they get to work early on your dealer install items that come with the car like any trim upgrades you did. My dealer was horrible the entire experience they just didn't wanna listen to me then I get ya it'll be ready within an hour or so of you coming in to sign final paperwork sat in their building for damn near 4 1/2 hours...

Shit that sucks. Not sure if I ordered any LPO items. Are the black bow ties dealer installed? I also got the front facia extension. Other than that I don't think there was anything out of the ordinary.

I think you are right....I also ordered the footwell lighting and the interior trim kit which according to the pricing posted by Becky some time ago, those are dealer installed as well. Can't see how those would take a tremendous amount of time to install but we'll see. Got to get it to the dealer first!!! LOL

A bit of advice get an ETA from your dealer sit down with them if able to and hash out that you want things done as soon as the car is offloaded they can recon while your doing the final paperwork. There's no reason a dealership can't do this 99% of them put new car sales ahead of service fixes.

Well I was told by the dealer that the estimated delivery date was this Friday and that if it did come on Friday, I could pick it up next Tuesday. However, my friend is one of the sons of the dealership owner and he said if it comes in Friday he would get it done Friday.

If Becky is right, it got loaded on a train yesterday (thus the second 4200 status today). Highly doubt its going to get there in 3 days so I guess I won't have to worry about this Friday LOL

Train got to Selkirk, NY quick took less then 2 days for mine to arrive after it left the Michigan yard. I sent becky all that extra buttery popcorn she used the leftover butter to grease the track for faster transit I tell you!

sorry, read your earlier post where you said 3-4 days to your dealer. My dealer is only a 2 hour drive from Selkirk so maybe Friday might work if it was loaded on the train yesterday.

Just got back with her a little while ago. Took it back via the country roads to vary the speeds a bit and enjoy the ride. Big change from my BMW. Smiles are only a flick of the pedal away!
