If you trade in a car read this
As some of you may know and some of you may not, if you bought an extended warranty or gap insurance or anything like that on your car and its still active, when you trade it in the dealer can give you what you still owe on that back. When i traded in my Dart for my Camaro, the dodge dealership gave me back 1200 dollars, but only when i contacted them about it. Something happened with my friend but he went several months without getting anything and only went and got his money back when i told him i got some and he contacted his dealer. I don't think they will go out of their way to refund you money so you may have to call them and get it yourself.

Ok so I have GAP insurance on the car Im trading in. Do I ask the dealer about this when I trade it in or what? Is there a thread on this?

I understand getting a portion of extended warranty back, but gap insurance usually isn't paid upfront. It's usually paid monthly. I wouldn't see getting anything back for that.

I purchased an extended electronics warranty. I can get some of this back when i trade in? I"ve never heard of it, but that would be awesome. Can someone else verify this? Do you get the money from the dealer you purchased it from or from the dealer you are trading to?

I got a few hundred from gap back, and talk to the dealer you bought the current car from, not tbe one you are buying your camaro from. All i haf to bring them was the sale slip from when they evaluated the cat so they could see exact miles from when i sold it
