Keep in mind they ship with almost no fuel in them. Think maybe some of it was PDI and filling it up in addition to tint run?

As long as under 30 miles I'm ok, but that's me personally.

If you're that concerned with the pre delivery miles, why are you allowing them to take it to get tinted? I have to side with the dealer on this one. It's not like it had 100 miles on it.

Damn. I get what others here are saying, but...I still feel like his response was uncalled for. Depending on what trim you got, you could be dropping around $50K on this thing like I am. I don't think it's unreasonable for Eric0353 to be very detailed and specific about what he wants and expects. But I personally am not the type of person who can drop like $50K on something and be all like, "Meh...no big deal if there are issues" so maybe that's just me.

That dude owes you an apology. However, I have a feeling that he will never give you one. There are many ways he could have replied that were way more professional and sound.

For example...there's also the chance that extra QC holds could be a factor in the milage, but maybe not since you seemed to have gotten your car in like 2 minutes since being built. Check your rear tires, just to be safe...

That's the thing... It was delivered to my dealer on car carrier which I saw on my Onstar app map tracking with only 9 miles. If the tint place was only 2 miles each way then it should only have 13 miles and not 18 miles.

Maybe I missed an earlier post, but I would have to see the email/text that the salesman responded to if I were making a judgement. If you simply, and calmly, were asking about the additional miles without necessarily making accusations then this guy was way out of hand and quite honestly I would walk away from the deal no matter how long I had been waiting. There is no way on earth I would reward that person commission off a $50,000 (or however much it cost) purchase.

Regardless, that's not how you treat customers. But I could understand them losing their cool depending on how the email/text was worded to them.

It's your call, and you may have already bought it, but if my salesman had talked to me that way there is absolutely no way in this world I would purchase that car. Let it rot on their lot and either place another order or find something that is close...heck, maybe even a '16 somewhere and take advantage of the awesome financing.
