BORLAŽ Exhaust Price List (2016 Camaro SS)

There's been a lot of talk about the pricing and customization of our new 2016 Camaro SS Exhaust Systems, so we thought it'd be a good idea to break it down. The following list represents the different Borla Exhaust combinations out now for the 2016 Camaro SS as well as what the retail price is.

You can get just a rear section or rear section and x-pipes with mid-pipes, etc., the choice is yours and there are many possibilities as you can see below.

Please let me know if you have any questions and have a great weekend!

There are systems with NPP, and then there are systems that do not include the NPP valves, but have 4 tips. We did this to allow further customization.
For example, if you have a Non-NPP (2 Tip) Car and want the 4 Tip look, you can get our 4 Tip system that does NOT come with the valves, and also get the rear fascia that the 4 tip cars come with to get the look you want.

Does that make sense? Please let me know if I can answer any more questions.

Sorry if i missed it somewhere, but do you have sound clips for the S-type non-NPP rear section (1st one listed)? Also, how would flow on that setup compare to NPP in track mode (open)?

Yeah, I am all for customization but that is way too many options/iterations. Maybe you should build a web-based configuration tool that lets you pick the options and then it prices it out for the customer. It looks like 4 tip with with NPP and AFM valves starts around $2900? Speaking of prices, no disrespect but this is some pricey stuff when you consider it only costs $895 to add NPP exhaust to a Camaro. I am starting to like my factory NPP more, even with the rattles. :-)

What are some the of the key selling points for someone justify the cost of upgrading to the Borla exhaust systems?

The automotive aftermarket is a multi-billion dollar industry and exhaust upgrades are one of the top 5 modifications. Hundreds of thousand of enthusiasts take off perfectly good exhaust systems every year and replace them with something that enhances the sound, look and performance of their vehicle(s)

It's mostly about personalization. Some enthusiasts want their Camaro to look, sound and perform different/better than others. Durability is a benefit important to many as well.

Here's what you get with Borla:

Sound - Sounds distinctly different from stock. Many exhaust notes to choose from, all much different from stock. Find the sound that fits your driving style. How do you want to be heard (outside the vehicle)? What do you want to hear when you drive (inside the vehicle)? Etc. The sound profile of a car changes the entire driving experience. Change the exhaust and it's like driving an entirely different car.

Power - Increase in horsepower as well as torque over stock across the entire RPM range. Even more potential to make power over the stock exhaust when adding other performance modifications like a cold air intake and/or chip/reflash etc.

Looks/Appearance - Looks distinctly different from stock

Durability - Million mile warranty on labor/material non-moving parts (valves have a separate warranty). Will never rust, can be cleaned/polished to a chrome-like finish over and over again.

In a nutshell, with a Borla system your Camaro will sound better, perform better, look better and be more durable. All in a way that fits your personality and driving style.

Anyhow, hope this answers your question. If not, let me know.

Cheers!

David or Lisa or Forum member. Please help me understand AFM. I want to order a system and not sure which kit to order. If this is deleted, will I get a CEL? What is the main purpose of the AFM? Why two sets of Cats? I need help understanding so I can purchase the right system for my car.

AFM is when your car goes from all 8 cylinders to 4 for better fuel economy, and the AFM valves are closed to cover up that Honda sound that your car would make if the AFM valves stay open while only running on 4 cylinders. If your car is an Automatic, then you have AFM valves.
idk if deleting the AFM valves will cause a CEL, but the whole AFM thing can be tuned out, at the expense of warranty voiding, or temporarily disabled with a range device (if I remember correctly).

While this forum is a great source of info and we get lots of great product releases from the vendors that support our community.
Why not call them directly and discuss your concerns and questions.
I am sure they will be more than helpful in answering your questions and selecting the right product for your needs.
