Using Sto-N-Sho License Plate with Front Fascia Extension
Has anyone used the Sto-N-Sho License Plate Frame with the stock Front Fascia Extension (Front Lip) or the ground effects package (assuming it's the same front lip)?
I ordered the Sto-N-Sho License Plate Frame and was considering getting the Front Fascia Extension from GM, but I'm not sure if they are compatible. |

I bought one for my car to put on it when I get it but looking at the video for installation I don't think it will as it's designed to bolt on directly to the front bumper cover and I don't see a whole lot of room for the front fascia. But, I don't know for sure.

If you have the front fascia extension, you need to get a different bracket that they have for that. I believe they list it as the one for the 16-17, compatible with ground effects and 1LE.

Thanks everyone for the help. I have a follow up question... I see on Phastek Performance website, they have two models, one for "all models" and one specifically for the GM Splitter. The day after I bought my new Camaro I bought the Bracket for "All Models" (SNS89), not thinking I would be getting the GM Splitter.
Has anyone seen both models up close and know if they are the same size and same hardware? I am wondering if I can use the SNS89 on the Splitter, or if I need to go out and buy the SNS89A because maybe the length is different or the hardware for installing it is different. OPTION 1: Detachable Front License Plate Bracket: Fits 2016 Camaro (All Models) (SNS89) OPTION 2: Detachable Front License Plate Bracket: Fits 2016 Camaro w/ GM Splitter (SNS89A) |

The bottom line answer is NO. There are two options for the 2016 Camaro SS for the STO N SHOW, Past No. SNS89 for the regular factory bumper, and SNS89A for those that have either the ground effects or factory Front Fascia Extension (Front Lip/Splitter). I returned the SNS89 that I originally ordered and when I got the SNS89A for the Front Fascia Extension I ordered for my car I noticed that it comes with two screws and two spacers that the SNS89 does not come with. The screws and spacers go into the Front Fascia Extension where as with the SNS89 for the factory bumper you actually end up not getting any screws because you just reuse the 7mm bolts that you remove from the stock front bumper to install the main bracket that mounts onto the car. Incidentally, just because I was curious, I contacted STO N SHOW and if you end up ordering the SNS89A and don't have the front splitter, that also won't work and you'll need to exchange it for the SNS89 because the SNS89A is different, it has the same base plate, but it is installed reversed and the front plate is slightly different also. Hope this helps anyone that's trying to order the STO N SHOW and ends up with the wrong one. (Below is a picture of all the hardware that comes with the SNS89A - for those with the ground effects or front fascia extension) |

Sorry to bring back quite an old thread, but does anyone happen to know the specs of the screws/nylon spacers that come with the version compatible with the front splitter? I want to see if I can somehow make the non splitter version fit on my car instead of having to buy a new one for $88. Thank you

You can buy different size spacers at Lowes in Hardware isle. I used thinner ones to put the plate through the airdam. Slightly higher up for less scraping action.
