I had a conversation with my dealer about the detailing. After the discussion, I decided to let them do it, but I set an expectation. I think this is a decision based on your own feelings and your relationship with the dealer.

I copied the new car checklist to a Microsoft OneNote so I woudl always have it with me on my phone and started making my own mods.

One of my notes:

If shipped by rail, needs IRON-X wash followed by liquid glass

I just told the dealership not to wash or detail my car and they said they'll make a note of it. They didn't seem happy for whatever reason.

I do, but unfortunately it's at home. I could have swore I double checked it when the order was placed. I definitely did the first time. When they had to reorder because the '16 didn't get picked up, I looked at it as well but I may have missed it.

I hope it is just a typo. I found your car listed on the site...the tabs aren't working properly for the listing...so hoping is typo.

I had the same issue - a reorder through a different dealer. I went through mine with a fine tooth comb and found two issues to address even though I provided them the original. Unfortunately, mistakes can be made. No you have me worried I did enough to make sure my reorder is correct....

I just don't want to have to walk away from it. That is going to be devastating, but navigation is an absolute deal breaker. Where I live, my phone loses signal in a wide variety of areas; so relying on CarPlay is not an option.

Becky just confirmed it is on my order. We really, REALLY ought to do something special for her. Not because of this one thing, but she definitely helps us all keep our sanity.

Even though I'm going insane right now after word from Becky, lol, I second this idea. I'd be willing to pitch in if we come up with a plan. I've already decided that I have to name my car Becky in her honor.

As a matter of fact, Rogers Chevrolet has an annual car show for Camaros every May. At this years show, among the items that were donated for a silent auction was a wonderful Bottle of Jim Beam Bourbon (Jim Beam Distiller's Masterpiece ) in a glass case that had been custom etched both on the bottle and on the glass front and rear of the case with several logos Including the Rodgers Chevrolet logo, our local clubs logo (Detroit5thGen) and the logo of a charity we started and supported by Lingenfelters called Camaro Strong (long story behind this).

This is a $200 bottle of bourbon donated to the auction by a club member.

Becky saw it ahead of time and immediately wanted it for herself. I told her she would be bidding against me.

In the end the winning bid was mine at $700 with the proceeds going to charity.

Becky wasn't very happy about losing the bid.

About 15 min later we called everyone there to listen up as I picked up the mic and proceeded to announce I was hereby presenting said bottle Becky for everything she's has done for damn near most everyone on both Camaro5 and Camaro6 along with everything she has done for all of us in the Drtroit5thGen club.

I wanted her and every know that we are eternally grateful for all she does for us.

It's the first time I've seen Becky darn near break down into tears.

She got the bottle after all.

BTW I have no idea why the photo is on it's side.
