Thanks Kaizer. I'm dealing with a younger sales girl so maybe she's just not that informed yet. She told me invoice plus car has to be present. I guess it could be a state law, idk. It'll happen when it happens!

This is what my salesman texted me today. Included is the MSRP which matched what I had calculated prior, and he marked what the Employee Pricing will actually be. Please let me know if you think something looks off.

Using "In Transit" on the dealer web site seems more normal than not, and my saying bait and switch was extreme on my part. Several years ago acting on a vow to never do a SRE order again, I spend a portion of every day for a week at the dealership trying to locate a dealer trade that met my wants. We located several, none of which were actually available and most of which were "In Transit." Needless to say, I went the SRE route.

Invoice looks normal to me. Wise decision to blank out the key code.

The DAN stands for Dealer Assigned Number
...an area of the order a dealers uses as a "note" ....your dealer used "Sold"
I use the customer initials and mine -

Your name Dan....is a coincidence...

Blanking out the Key Numbers....VERY SMART!
