Anyone removed yet?

Anyone have instructions on how to remove the display? Just pry off or is there more to it?

That's different than the one in my car. I didn't realize there were different models of the Mylink for the Camaro.

This would be a good one to know. Can anyone respond? Cannot find anything anywhere that shows how to do this. Been looking for weeks.

Seems like I saw instructions that included removing myLink to install the footwell lighting kit. Or maybe it was installing gauge face overlays. Search for those and see if you get lucky.

Just pull the whole display and bezel out. Its held in place with clips.

The bottom comes off with clips, then there are some 7 mm bolts holding the rest of it.

Just to be clear, my car is a base model 1LT. And the display is different than the ones in the RS and SS models. Can someone who has actually removed this exact screen confirm the removal process? Thank you!

This is the only post I have seen on this. Looks to be pretty straight forward. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=442546

Thanks for the link Chris. That gets me what I needed to know. It looks like you have to remove the trim first which is held on by some clips. I just couldn't see a seem but apparently it's there. Glad I didn't try pulling out the entire unit first :-)
