I know EXACTLY what you mean. All my coworkers, and some of my friends, are all, "It's just a car". They don't get it. My fellow local Camaro Club members get it luckily.

But yes it does feel good to vent sometimes. I got us a punching bag for the tent so you can take out some anger on that.

And I agree, once it gets here this will be a thing in the past, but it is here/now and frustrating as all get out.

I've seen those too! I love watching things get made, especially cars. I even have toured the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, KY. That was a blast to see.

I don't know how your weather is where you guys live but here I feel like each passing day is one less I'll be able to drive it when it does get here. I don't see it being an issue driving it into November though I recently read a thread on here about the tires not being good below 40 degrees since they are summer only. I won't be driving it in the snow but I'd like to drive it even if it's cold.

Summer tires typically don't do well in temps below 40, they require longer warmup times and can crack/split in cooler/colder temps.

I live in Memphis, TN and it stays HOT here, even into October. So won't have to worry about missing the chance to drive it before storing it for the winter.

Hopefully you get yours soon enough to enjoy for many years to come.

Orders are not built first in first out. TPWs are elastic: my Sonic RS had a October 8 TPW which never changed. It was assembled November 7. Automatic equipped Sonic RSs began production about a week late but about three weeks before the manuals. Clearly the availability of components or parts directly affects the timing of the assembly process.

My 5th gen was my daily driver, and it was the only vehicle I had. It can get cold here in the winter, but it mostly stays pretty mild.

The 6th gen won't be my only vehicle this time around. It will be my daily driver, but during the winter if it snows I'll have my truck.

I'll drive with the top down on my Miata well into November if that gives you any indication to the weather here...but then again I like it cold; so maybe I'm not the right person to ask.

I live in North Dakota, and because of the chemicals they put on the road, I won't drive my baby in the winter. Usually won't drive it at all until late spring. I wish GM would take that kind of thing into consideration when prioritizing orders.
