Depends on what happens to the car but I plan to keep it until I blow the motor up and then build a new motor. So probably as long as possible

Commits weekly crime
|
I have a history of getting rid of my cars pretty quickly.
I got rid of my 2010 Camaro in 2012 with about 35,000 miles. I still have my 2013 Audi Q5 with 130,000 miles on it. I got rid of my 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 with just over 50,000 miles on it. And, my current Z06 has 7500 miles on it. I may get rid of it by the end of the year, mainly because I may need to move closer to Seattle and can't carry two cars there without a garage (which is hard to find when you're renting), so I may combine my 2 current ones into something newer & less expensive...maybe another Camaro. I love the Z06, however I wouldn't want it to be my daily driver.

5 years. It is already paid off, but I will be tired of it by then. I hope to get close to 20k trade in for it on my next (hopefully) more exciting ride. I still have to buy the wife a new suv and myself a new truck in the next 5 years though, so we shall see.

I understood the question, so no plans for a 6th Gen. As for my car, until I can no longer drive a manual trans.

I'll keep mine for the 4 year lease deal and after that... who knows. If I'm still in love with the car, i might keep it. But if history repeats itself, I'll be giving it back and ill get a newer one or move to whatever piques my interest at the time.

I`ll keep it until something comes along that gave me the same feeling when I first saw the concept Camaro......."Must have, I`m buying that as soon as production starts!"
