Agreed. He did post in the tracking thread with an order number. Willing to see what happens. If he is shipped already would be cool but doesn't line up with anything we've been told thus far.

Hmm. I'm afraid that a dealer website would categorize any order that's been confirmed/received by the manufacturing plant as "in transit" but I am really hoping I'm wrong. It would be a pleasant surprise if we did get some 2017's shipping out for real.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I think I might be confused on the codes then. Becky's thread says:

4200 Vehicle Shipped
4300 Intermediate Delivery

That's why I was under the understanding they were shipped to the dealer? What is the code for when it is?

Correct on her post listing the codes. I followed other 16 orders after placing my order to try and gauge how this would work since this is my first custom order. They will use 4200/4300 interchangeably (seen Becky say that) until it finally ships. It will use 4200 for final shipment with more detail behind that code. She's often said Chevy chat will say it's shipped to dealer at 4200/4300 when really it's been moved to/around the other lot. She says she can see movement and see when it really ships.

If I'm wrong I totally misunderstood older posts and apologize. It's possible I'm wrong. I'm not a GM employee. Just an avid Camaro fan who spends too much time on the build thread lol.

Best advice is ask Becky or Laborsmith to clarify. But this is my 2 cents worth.

That I do not know the answer to. But I would would guess yes because Becky has said an order is subject to build verification prior to final shipment.

A build is "In Transit" when it gets to 3800 and remains "In Transit" until 5000.

4200 is often used when a build is moved from one holding lot to another (LGR has at least three) and when put on a hauler to be transported to the dealer.

Every build has to go to 4B00 at least once before going to 4200.

Every transported by train build has to go to 4800 than 4B00 before 4200.

4300 may be a paper move but I do not know for sure. It is not clear on the Order Event History, which is par for the course.
