I live close to the plant so you'd think mine would be one of the firsts to be delivered. If the truck comes during business hours I hope to be there to see it arrive. Since I won't be having kids this will be my "watching my child be delivered" moment in life.

Haha! Dude, you and I are in similar boats. No kids for me, and my fiancé and I have already talked about waiting many years before we decide if we want to do that.

I've already planned out making "announcement photos" and "we're expecting!" posts on FaceBook, and instead having it be for my car. I was also planning on having a "car shower" for some of my closest friends when it gets close to delivery time. I have some really funny ideas planned out, and I'll post a few pics here once we take them.

Hi everyone. I'm unsure of how this process goes so I'm curious to know what happens next. I was at 4200 status as of yesterday morning. Is there any reason to keep having Becky check for updates? Is it too soon to know a ship date? If Becky checks in on some of our 4200 statuses will it be a good way for us to find out if there are any holds for QC?

IDK how it all works... but looks to me like you, me, Picks, Kaizer, Seawolf (I'm sure there're more) have all ordered through Becky and we all have the same TPW so maybe we'll all be shipped together?

Pretty sure I remember someone saying they try to ship more than a few at a time so it may help us that all of our cars are going to her dealership.

Thanks Lukemo! I try to think that's the reason why. Thanks for the support! And yes I am really looking forward to my 50th.

I'm more frustrated because I see others not going through, than I am frustrated about my own. I figured mine would be delayed compared to others but not others delayed with me.

Sorry for anyone who is delayed because they are stuck behind mine on the assembly line!

Actually, I didn't order through Becky . Mine is shipping to Owosso which is only 30 minutes from EL. My $995 destination charge really should have been about $65

Maybe mine will be one of the first delivered.

So... I'm thinking about a custom plate with my order #. I think I'd like that.

Also, I love the look of this 1LE, so I plan to steal some of the styling ques:

1. Car's coming w/ black bowties so that's done already
2. Tint windows
3. Paint the wheels gloss black
4. Paint the diffuser gloss black (bc LT diffuser comes matte)
5. Order/install this elusive spoiler, gloss black (or one similar to it)
6. Order/install tinted tail lights


Only thing I'd be missing (exterior appearance wise, of course) would be the vinyl wrapped hood/mirrors, and front/rear chin/lip splitter/spoilers.

I can live with that.
