I was driving locally for about 3 months and got around 17.5 MPG. Now that I commute to work and take the expressway everyday i am up to 20.5.

Auto SS last 300 miles I have averaged 18mpg. This is split between bumper to bumper traffic and highway

In my 2016 5.0 6spd I averaged 12mpg

I average 17 with a lot of that local driving. Course, my foot is not too light!

I now have close to 2K miles. I have been watching my MPG pretty closely and I'm ranging between 17.8 to 19.6. I use it as a DD and have a total of 20miles round trip in traffic and open highway. I'm going on a road trip this weekend and I very curious as to what I will get for MPG during this trip

I have the V6 M6 and my lifetime (5500 miles) mileage average is 24. I drive some city, some 45 MPH back roads, and some freeway, pretty good mix of everything I would say.

MPG is measured at the pump when filling up, the numbers in the car are meaningless because they're dithered. They can match very well or not depending on too many factors to list here now. Best way to get an idea of what others are getting real world (and what you're actually going to get on a car you haven't purchased yet) is to look up the aggregate from various apps that measure mileage at fill up. You're going to see a much lower number that what you read on these forums.

I'm getting 16.1 with my 2SS and my average speed is 26 mph. The idle time is extremely high.

The car has actually been pretty accurate when it comes to that. Look at my fuelly link and look at the notes. I put the average MPH and MPG the car gave me.

Yup, sounds about right. The main problem with the camaro is that it just doesn't want to drive like a prius. It makes the driver physically angry to gradually come to a stop 1/2 mile away from a red light and then take half way to the next red light to get up to 35mph in a 55. The Camaro just will not abide by that kind of nancy driving. Speed limit is 50, you're going 50 from the light. Red light coming up in 40 ft ? That's why you have big brakes and fat tires.

City traffic is definitely not going to do wonders for mpg.

I think my last tank was around 22.7. That is mixed of local roads and slow highway with lots of stop and go. 2SS, A8. 1800 miles on it.

It's a Camaro. It's supposed to ruin the environment. I hear the Tesla might be better or possibly the Volt. Smh
