On a positive note, I'm getting my car tomorrow. I will post pictures once I stop drooling and/or laughing uncontrollably.

Please ask your dealer to check the Order Event History for 4D00. It is a status Becky can not see for orders not her own.

I don't think I can.

I had it invoiced at the end of May to take advantage if a private offer and thinking I would have it shortly after since it was built the 24th. Once it's invoiced doesn't that disable the dealers ability to check the status because the system thinks it's a done deal? If I still can let me know and I will ask. The Salesman is pretty knowledgeable though, worked in a GM plant a long time so I'd think he would if he could.

Pretty sure you can. But the few 4D00 events I am aware of occurred before 6000.

I don't see that event code on Becky's list. What is it? I was 4B00 before then they moved it to that rail yard. Now it's back.

It is not on Becky's list. It is the only status event code for a quality inspection. Chevy clearly goes out of its way not to use it.

..can occur when intransit
Have you Dealer look at Event History...
It is currently reported "Delivered" 6000 Status.

Thanks to both of you for chiming in. I appreciate the advice, this is a little frustrating.

I have asked the Salesman to check the event history and to see if it's listed as 4D00. Waiting for his response. All he could tell me from his call there earlier today was "the car is still back at the assembly plant for quality....they have no idea what the issue is".

I'm guessing the dealer would have access to more info than me but Is there anyone I could call as the customer? Anyone have Al Oppenheiser email

Chevy does not admit to a specific issue that is the reason for a quality hold: not even when we figure it out. In addition, Chevy has a proven history of helping employees not reveal such info in a way that can be traced. I defy anyone to post info that contradicts this post.

Hang in there G! You will get the car, but sometimes it takes a bit longer than others. And it will be right when you get it. It's just hard when there are delays, and you don't know why. Can be frustrating.

And post some pics when you get it. I want to see your color combo, as I think it will be stunning.
