50-500 miles.....stick close to what the manual says, but I do not subscribe to the idea that cruise control can't be used. Just don't drive 2+ hours straight with it.

After 500 miles.....start easing into full power sprints. Maybe not a track day or run in Mexico, but need to let the car work at higher RPMs. Let it shift a couple gears at WOT, etc...

There unfortunately aren't but 2 shops here in Memphis that sell ethanol free gas and are in REALLY BAD parts of town so will be a 10% blend 93 for me.

LOL Yeah, if I had to pick between getting ganked and buying 10% ethanol blends I'd probably go with the ethanol as well.

Power sports are extremely popular around here, i.e. motocross, offroading, boating, etc. and alot of small engines can't handle ethanol blends. It gums up the motors. Because of that, there are quite a few in this area that sell 100% gasoline. Heck, there's one near my job that sells 100% regular grade.

Wouldn't be worried about it. Seems the general consensus for changing at 500 is to get the leftover break-in materials out of the engine. Not that they will hurt anything in the long run.

A couple years ago (literally like 2) there were tons of ethanol free gas stations here in Memphis with multiple grades.

I figured as much. Will take care of it when get back to Memphis. 10 quarts is going to hurt. Unless I can convince the dealer to do this change under the 2/24 plan. Since most won't touch unless at a certain oil life per the monitor.
