GGT is the other thing I'm curious about.. I'm hoping that A10 was able to push just the other side of that and removes GGT from the ZL1.. AND, if that was the case, could also be why they're delaying 2017 Z06s.. So they can get A10 installed there as well and remove their GGT from Auto Zs..

price is coming in at $61,255 for standard car, add GGT of $1300, delivery off $995 and go up from there, if you add an A10 look for a price add of $2200, PDR $1800, Exposed Carbon parts as much as $1200.

For power i say 650 HP car.

I edited my first post to say my price guess included GG tax and destination charge. So $64,995 with charges.

I'm going to guess somewhere around 655hp. Most likely 620ish to the back wheels. pricing should be somewhere around $61000. A base price hellcat will run you about $62500 and a base price GT350R costs about $61500 so if chevy wants to compete they will have to target the price just below this but will look to make up the difference with add ons imho.

"With an estimated 640 horsepower and 640 lb.-ft. of torque, ZL1 is the most powerful Camaro ever produced."

The Gen5 was originally "estimated" @ 560 like the Cadillac CTS-V and was finally SAE rated @ 580 when production started. While they shared the same motor, the Gen5 ZL1 improved airflow into the S/C and a couple minor other things that gave it a 20hp bump over its caddy sibling. Many of us believe the same will be true for the Gen6 ZL1 and the LT4. If they can improve a couple things that the Corvette struggles with (specifically airflow in and exhaust out due to a very tight engine bay and smaller front air dam area) there is a real chance the ZL1 estimates are actually under what they will actually deliver. Also, as we see in the Gen6 SS, GM has a habit of under promising on HP and over delivering. There are multiple threads where the LT1 in the Camaro has shown higher dyno #'s than the LT1 in the Vette. Not saying it is faster, as the vette is lighter, but GM has not place the Vette in that "untouchable" place anymore and so for that reason I (and many others) think the Gen6 ZL1 actual HP #'s will be a very pleasant surprise.

~$67k starting price. I have a hard time seeing it being much lower than that. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Just a little perspective, all the way back to the Gen4 LS1 cars, they often produced more RWHP than the Corvette, even though there was a substantial difference in rated HP (350 Vette vs 305-320 FBody).

My buddy who owns a '16 HC drove from California to Texas to buy his HC and it cost him $77k out the door. They bring the mark up with them and Chevy will do the same. : (
