I just wanted to share this for anyone who may have the same issue.

Remote Link was not working after I had the dealer set up my account last Sunday. OnStar was telling me there was an error getting a signal to the car for the remote link app to work. They went on to say there wasn't anything else they could do until I could push the blue button inside the car. I go this explanation 2 times. It just didn't make sense or sit well with me and I assumed they meant they could not try to establish connection again.

By the 3rd call I finally got a rep that said they could in fact try multiple times but that I would have to call back until they could get it to connect. She tried it that day (yesterday) and got the signal to go through. The good news is 24 hrs later I was able to track it. The bad news is the car has been built a week and is still here:

That's the railyard in Charlotte. You are waiting on a train load. At least you are not sitting at the assembly plant!

I find that more depressing than interesting. Appreciate the info all the same though! I wonder why they would bring it back....

Make sure you press the locate (car) button a few times. Sometimes mine would default to an old location and after pressing it several times it would finally update to the current location.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it's still showing there. I'll try again later today and see if anything is different.

So just for entertainment value the Salesman was told it is held for quality inspection. He was not informed for how long or when it will leave.....

I've seen several truckloads of Camaros around Ann Arbor, MI going South, East, and West in the last few days. I saw 3 full trucks just yesterday heading South. They are definitely moving vehicles!

So I'm in a slightly different location at the plant now near the railroad tracks. I hope this is a sign that the quality inspection is done and they are shipping it soon!
