So I had my car invoiced Sunday to take advantage of the private offer. This disables any tracking the dealer can do because the system thinks the car had been delivered. I was like no big deal, we'll just start my OnStar trial which the Salesman did and I can track it like that.

Well it doesn't work and when I called OnStar to see what's up they said a setting was entered wrong on set up and it won't work until I can press the OnStar button in the car.......

Long story short I'll know when it gets there when it gets there....

Is it on a train? If it is, you may be able to track it through the freight company (i.e. CSX, Union Pacific, etc.). I did that with my last Camaro delivery back in 2010. Somehow I had the rail car number that my car was in, and I could track the exact location online.

I don't know. It was 4300 last time I checked. Then it got invoiced. Maybe the dealer can call and find out what rail company was used and I an go from there.

Car Finally came in. Now I have to wait till tomorrow to pick it up due to PDI!!

Mine got delivered to dealer this week, but it is currently in the body shop for the ground effect kit. (I thought it would come with the factory install...) So, I gotta wait till next Monday to pick it up.. it will be a long weekend for me

Yesterday I flew from Nashville to Detroit to pick up my new SS from Becky, then turned around and driver her back to her new home. So much fun to drive it for nine hours! That may well be the longest trip it ever goes on again.

Congrats to all, happy for you guys. OnStar was able to communicate with my car but remote app still not working. My hope is that it will, after 24hrs

So the good news is I was able to get my OnStsr issue resolved and was able to track the car.

The bad news is as you can see is the car is still in the holding area waiting for a train. My salesman said he had a chat with them and that it's not a QC hold, likely just a logistics hold up. He's going to check again Monday to see if it got loaded. The other bad news is tomorrow is 10 days from the build date so it's possible my OnStar could go in sleep/battery saver mode and I wouldn't be able to track it until it moves again.

We are probably on the same train. I got an eta of 6/20 so hoping I can get a private offer by then.

I hope not lol. Better be on a train Monday. 6/20 is not only way longer than I anticipated but cutting it close I go on vacation 4 days later for a week. It shouldn't take a month from build to delivery....
