Please excuse my ignorance but does the controller help with the complete lack of torque in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear? I have an M6 and 1st/2nd gear are fantastic. After that it's seems like everything completely bogs down.

Ok so I guess the vitesse controller is not suited for the 6spd. They are better suited for an automatic so anyone want a vitesse for $100 bucks

um a v6 Camaro is more than enough to take on your coworker's RT, easy off the line and you should put 6 to 10 car lengths on him at 100 MPH.

Too funny your v6 Camaro is more than enough to take on your coworker's RT, easy off the line. let us know how it goes.

So I've only tried it while idling the car haven't tested it on the streets yet had a minor set back. Broke one of the mirrors accidently

But should be better by the weekend I'll keep you posted.

Ah man V6 manual is fun. Not sure how your wife is going to react with the SS.

Anything over 3000 rpm shift you will go 15-20 mph pass the speed limit really fast. No kidding.

Glad your wife can drive a manual! Wish my girlfriend can.. but then again, the SS is not a car to play around with. You can't have lazy shifts on the tranny.. but will be rewarded for good shifts.

If you get the auto, then she should be fine. But I will def. try to have fun with the manual V6! And of course, test drive the SS as well. You'll take a hit in depreciation though
