Gen6 2SS as a daily driver?

Who's using their 2SS as a DD? And how is it going? How are you liking it?

Plenty of us are using our 2SS as our DD. I've driven 2300 miles in about 2 months. I'm lucky in that it it is garaged at home and at work. I actually am happy going in to work! It is comfortable as a DD, and I really don't have any regrets. Even with the potholes here in the NE, the ride is compliant. We shall see if I continue to drive it every day when winter comes... I will probably use one of my other cars on days it snows and the salt trucks are out.

I'm a fairly relaxed driver and will keep any aggressive driving for autocross and probably the track in the future. In terms of visibility, I feel like I am almost completely used to it. With properly adjusted mirrors, I feel good about switching lanes.

Anything in particular that you would like to know?

the 2SS is my daily driver which is the main reason for getting the A8... which I am learning to love. especially in highway traffic jams.

Had a beautiful C6 Grand Sport but it stayed in the garage too much... couldn't bear to drive it in the rain and put it away for the winters. drove it about 5,000 miles a year.

Have that much on the SS after just 4 months! Got a set of Pirelli winter tires for it and drove in the snow (with 300 lbs of sand in the trunk!). I'm in Healthcare and have to be at work every day regardless of the weather.

I drive it every day and love it... although it challenges my OCD a bit keeping it clean. which is why I had it wrapped in clear 3M pro series film.

Very very happy with it.

Best car I have ever had.
super comfortable and great mileage.
Besides the rattle..... the car is everything I want.

The wife and I drive our 1SS daily. We're coming up on a month of ownership now and have around 1200 miles on it. Our other car is a '14 Dart (great little car BTW) and we have a 10 year old son, but we choose the Camaro every day (who wouldn't, right?).
We average 17 MPG with 30 MPG being our best. We don't have mag ride, but the ride is fairly smooth. My wife is 5ft tall, so no complaints from my son (who is also 5ft) about the back seat.
Realistically, I don't want the run flat tires. Just a personal preference, but being a DD I want to be able to repair tires. I've already experienced the agony of replacing a $400+ tire with only 1000 miles on it.
We are extremely happy with the car and have no complaints so far.

My 2SS is my DD and I love it. Best car I've ever had by far. Comfortable, fast, great to look at, great mileage. As someone said before, the biggest challenge is keeping her clean.

My 2ss is my daily. I commute about 44 miles round trip to/from work everyday. Put about 200 miles on her about every 4 or 5 days. Absolutely LOVE to drive this thing. I live in miami, traffic is the worst. I drive a 6spd manual and love every second of it.

I intend to make mine a daily driver when I get it with one exception, salty roads in the winter time I'll drive my truck! I have about a 35mi round trip to work and I'll be getting the 6spd.

I've had my car for a month and a half now. I have just over 4000 Miles on it. Love it, and it's always a pleasure to drive. It likes to drink fuel but I'm okay with that.

I use my 2SS with a 6sp as a DD. Much better than driving the truck I had.

my 2SS is my DD and i love it. I've put over 2k miles on it in less than a month and its amazing, extremely comfortable. just in love with it.

Had the car for a month and a half. Love the comfortable ride with the magnetic ride control. Northern Californian roads are pretty smooth depending on where you go around my area. Got the A8 for the traffic I sit in. No complaints, wouldn't have it any other way. I can drive while enjoying a cup of coffee or when it's time for me to go get it, the car follows my command like a well trained K-9. 2300 miles, no problems.

My daily driver and loving every minute behind the wheel. This is the only reason why I got the A8 because of traffic. No regrets on getting it for my daily driver. nearly 3000 miles so far.

Mines a DD. I dont buy cars to let them sit in garages 24/7. The joy of owning a nice car is getting to experience it everyday. And if you really love it, you can always make it new again down the road.
