My car is a M6 so it's not specific to automatics. Look for many posts about this subject in the warranty forum.

Exactly, I have even submitted pictures and been to the Dealer twice. There are MANY posts on this subject..

Thank you for this thread. I googled and found this. To add, my driving mode and light controllers went out. I restarted multiple times. No change. I went to the fuse box and pushed in the fuses and everything worked as normal. Half my fuses were kind of out. Whether that's a true fix or not, or if it had anything to do with it, it worked for me. Issues gone.

I have this issue and ill try the fuse box "poking" when I get home from work.

When remote started, I frequently don't have the driving mode option either. Always comes back. I've learned to work around it lol.

So I had three glitches:
1. Driving mode disappeared.
2. Lighting controls gave me an error when trying to select a light color. I believe it was along the lines of "not available in current mode."
3. Favorites weren't being saved. The screen would randomly lose favorites. For example, I might have had one whole row of favorites and upon next restart three were missing and the tabs reverted to the stock "1", "4", "5" place holders.

I haven't had these issues since pushing in all the fuses. None were blown but somewhere between 50-60% were only in half way.

I have a M6 and it's also happened to me . Can't change suspension or exhaust sound and steering but every other setting is there

This happens to me whenever I use the remote start on my key fob only.

It is a software glitch and the patch is supposed to be released soon.

When mine disappears it always show up after the next time I start it. They told me the car needed to be be off for 4 minutes so all computers will power down.

Something to do with a communication issue and one of the computers not answering fast enough during startup. Since it didn't answer it doesn't show up on the menu.

Definitely a software error. It happens to me all the time.

I tested the remote start. Everyone else is right. When I remote started, Driving Mode and the additional lighting controls were gone. I turned off the car and restarted it normally and it was still missing. After letting it sit for 10 minutes, the controls came back.

Below is an image of the lighting error. The normal 4 buttons for light controls are missing. All that's available is the color selector. Once I press that, I get this:

Both issues are connected.
