Issues so far
Hey everyone. I am interested in seeing how many problems have people had with there 2016 Camaro and what was done to resolve the issue. I am pretty sure some of us have had the same problem in common.
01/2016 - Clicking noise from front end. (Rack and Pinion steering replaced) 02/2016 - Radio Malfunction (bluetooth, Carplay randomly disconnects (Dealer does update.) 03/2016 - Radio Malfunction (bluetooth, Carplay randomly disconnects (Dealer does another update.) 04/2016 - Squeaking noise when vehicle starts and shuts off, Clicking noise from front passenger side. (Dealer replaces serpentine belt and tensioner. Dealer also replaces right front strut and bearing.) 05/2016 - Radio issues again and a squeaking noise heard when I press gas pedal. (Dealer found recall for issue with exhaust and provides lubricant for solution. Dealer also reprogrammed the radio.) I am still hearing a squeaking noise and I have to get it back to the shop again. As you can tell I've had an eventful 2016 |

I don't think I have any of these issues (yet), but will drive around this weekend to see if I have them.
One odd thing I did notice is when the AC is on auto. It will open/close the duct panels in the dash and sometimes makes a loud/deep "pop", almost like a cardboard box being tapped really hard.

Clicking noise in the front end
Hey guys, I have had my 2SS Camaro for about 45 days now so far the only issue is the slight clicking noise in the front. I said something to the dealer and they said it was normal. Everything else seems to work great. I have 1400 miles so far. Changed the oil at 800 miles. Thinking about changing Diff at 3000 miles no noises yet from it. What do you think?

NPP Buzz/Rattle (pulled NPP fuse for now until there is a real fix) and my trunk chipped my own paint. That is a first, usually it is a rock chucked at me, not my own car chipping itself.

I have had some issues as well.. not similar to yours though
1. "Service Rear vision system" error when I put the car in reverse: Restarting the car solved the issue and has never occurred after that. However, my car is currently at the dealer for issues below and so he will be updating the software as well. 2. Foul odor coming from the air vents: Very difficult to describe the smell, but my service guy thinks its an issue in the heater core. He suspects there is a leak. If so, will need to order the part and wait for the car to get fixed. Apparently he has to change the windshield too for some reason if he is replacing the heater core. Not sure why. I am waiting to hear back from him. 3. Since I own a stick shift, every time I start the car after a brief period, it takes some effort to change gears early on. After 10 mins or so, it becomes fine: Not going to do anything about this for now.

I've had to polish out some inconsistent areas in the clear coat (magnetic black) but they are fine now. I've had the info system go crazy once but only once. If you look at the clear coat wrong it scratches, I'm putting a strengthener on for the clear coat. Other than these things (not unusual for a early release first model car), I've had no problems yet. I expect to have some as all of my early release first model cars have to include foreign luxury and sport cars.
