I am an executive at an independent communications and technology brokerage. I like long walks on the beach in the moonlight...I will stop there.

Status 3400!!!!

Did I drive a car like I bought? - I drove a V6 and a V8 before purchasing. both had an A8. I plan to use the car as my daily commuter and, while I love a stick, I got really used to my CVT in my Cadillac CTS so I went with the auto. I have not sat in or driven a convertible.

Dual mode exhaust. I wanted it on the V6 so open it sounds like a V8, but closed it can go stealth. I don't plan on a many mods. At least not until year 7 (typical for me). But I may break my typical cycle and trade in and up in a couple of years. (Everyone needs a ZL1)

If you can, put your status history in your signature. It helps a lot of people judge the time frames that come behind us. I have really appreciated that from a bunch of people. This helps us know ahead of us how the cycles are going.

I don't really know anything about discounts. I will get a supplier discount bc of where I work...

However, I'm confident that if there are more options available to me when I sign the paperwork, Becky will inform me.

I posted this in another thread about batteries, but I also wanted to share with my TPW 6/6 team:

I live in AZ. We go through batteries every 2 - 3 years due to heat. So instead of watching the gauge all the time I have ordered a sealed battery in the past. Since Optima moved their manufacturing to Mexico, their quality has suffered. I have just ordered an Odyssey battery for my Cadillac Escalade. I have heard great things about the quality of these.

When my Camaro hits two years old, this is what I will order.

I'm gonna have to file this post for future purchases. I live in the New Mexico/Texas Border and even though my batteries last a little longer (3 years), its still worth looking at buying something that could survive the heat down here. I plan on adding a few extra goodies to the car audio and having a battery upgrade helps make my install smoother.

I am a recent college grad (Dec.) and now work as a Civil engineer. This will be my first major purchase.

Me too (Dec), with a Construction Engineering degree. I've driven a lot of high hp manual cars... But this, too, will be my first major purchase of a modern, manual sports car.

Isn't that funny? In the past, the Camaro would never have been referred to as a "sports car". Yet, with this 6th generation, chevy has bridged the gap btw "sports car" and "muscle car". In turbo and V6 forms, it's a lightweight sports car that embarrasses (dare I say it), a BRZ. But in SS form, it stomps the mustang and proudly embodies the soul of its big brother C7.

Chevrolet is on point, and I love GM.

I want to see if adding a 10'' subwoofer would be a possibility, but after hearing the 9 speaker setup in the 2ss, I might use that money for a cold air intake instead. The Bose setup is clear and has plenty of bass for my type of music.
