Still Cant find the right Dealer

I can't seem to find the right dealer with any knowledge of 1le or ZL1. I realize the ordering is not open but I can't even bounce thoughts off anyone. Also I might still be interested in a 2016 2ss but has to be black with black rims and either black or red interior they don't even want to look off their lot. Any thoughts Im moving to the Eastbay area haven't had luck with dublin or fremont chevy , I can also buy in Los Angeles and keyes or Rydell or Valencia are all the same poor customer support .

Wow. The long term problem I have there is that if there are any initial issues with the car then you don't have a local dealer that feels invested in helping you.

Any thoughts/comments on that?

You are very unlikely to find a dealer that "feels invested" in you even if you bought the car from them.

It is easy to find the right dealer: just contact Becky Doyle at Rodgers Chevrolet. There may be another dealer who knows as much about the future 1LE and ZL1 but I doubt it. She is wired into Chevy marketing like no other.

One problem: if your have worked with other dealers in the past you will kick yourself for not going with her sooner and if this is your first new car purchase you will be spoiled if in the future you try to go elsewhere.

I do not see getting service to be a concern. In my life I have found good service departments will do you right no matter where you bought.

If you were looking for a new doctor to cure your specific illness after trying local doctors, you would want a specialist. While some people seek treatment from their local General Practitioner (Dealer), Becky is a specialist with years of experience in the field of Camaro medicine.

If you are happy with a local General Practitioner, great. If no, you could likely use the services of specialist. The great news is that she does not cost any more than your GP. Sometimes you have to seek out a specialist to cure your ills.

Metaphors - gotta love em.

So...I personally was about to order through Becky. I am in California. I've been creeping on this site for years now, back when we just had Camaro5, and I know how reliable, helpful, and trustworthy she is.

The only reason I didn't was because another dealership called me up the day before I was going to email her and place my order. Platinum Chevrolet in Santa Rosa offered me $300 below the Employee Pricing that I have. The guy I'm working with is very easy and helpful as well.

However, with all of that in mind, if something does not go the way I want on the day of delivery and there are problems, I will happily tell them to shove it and place an order through Becky and wait another 6 weeks for it.

You really can't go wrong with ordering through her. But if you absolutely want someone good in CA, send me a private message and I'll hook you up with my salesman. If I refer you, I'm sure he'll go the extra mile to give you an easy experience, and may even help me out as well. Your call, bud. But even my recommendation would be Becky. She's just proven to be outstanding.

+1 Becky was the best move I ever made. About 6 emails and a couple of phone calls and I was an expectant father of a 2SS.

I had a great experience with a Black/black 2SS vert in the LA Area... Supplier pricing... Hooked my friend up with a white 2SS vert that they had and he lucked out with over 1k below supplier pricing because GM had a 2 week window if you were going to GM from another brand.
