2016 Camaro Issues - Fixed or Not
First off, I love my 2016 Camaro 2SS. This is not a Chevy bash just wanted to put down what issues have came up and which have been fixed in hope of helping others that are having similar issues.
1. Cracks in Display - After taking delivery, noticed what looked like scratches in the main display next to the RPM/MPH gauges.Resolved by replacing display, upon removal there were 13+ scratches on the inside of the display 2. Ground Effects - During install at the dealership, they noticed poor quality where the molding was not cut properly.Order placed for new kit on 12/20/2015 and are still on back order 3. USB Port issue / Music cracks regardless of USB source - Reported it recently and they are looking for a TSB as it is a head unit/USB issue. No Update yet 4. Center console issues - Any time force is applied to the knee pad on the drivers side, the whole consoles make a creaking noise. It is documented in my profile and before they tear it apart, they want to see if GM has a TSB on the issue My dealership follows up regularly on these issues to confirm they are still happening and the status of things they are looking into. Rumor is they are looking for new supplier for factory ground effects due to the poor quality of the previous supplier. Can't confirm, but would make sense since replacements were ordered 5 months ago.

Took mine to the dealership and they reset the radio in an attempt to correct the USB crackling/popping noises. No luck. I'll be taking it back.

I don't have any of those issues.
- I have the NPP rattle/buzz. I pulled the fuse for now, which eliminates the buzz for me. I will check with my dealer at my first oil change to see if there is a real fix yet or coming. - I also have the chipped paint from my poorly aligned trunk deck lid. I assume this is an easy fix as they just need to perform a minor adjustment and a spec of touch up paint.
