But that wouldn't seem to do much for added function. The front bumper in that area is much more inline on Camaro than on Corvette, so those taller winglets wouldn't be creating the pocket like it does on C7 Z07.

The fender extensions on C7Z06 allow for a pocket that's a pretty decent width for air to flow in to and up

If it immediately connected to and blended right in to the fender, there wouldn't be much there. Which is why I was curious how they addressed that part and was hoping there was a straight on shot. I can't easily tell from their render how far out the front splitter comes before the winglets attach -- but, I'm hoping it's like on the C7Z where it's protruding a bit and then up.

Personally I think the best part of this kit is the Fender Vents.

It's something that this car has been missing in my opinion. It's better styling and functional, who wouldn't want it!? Cutting holes into metal for aftermarket parts always makes me squeamish though.

Yea but look at those "winglets" on the Camaro. It's MM's in distance from the flat of the fender. But you can see on both cars that the fender is angled and a pocket/tunnel/hole or whatever would be created with a little more distance from the bumper and extending the winglet.

I just feel like the Camaro's fender is less angled than the Corvette. Maybe this is to the point of your original point but it'll probably miniscule space between the winglet and the fender. I guess you wouldn't be able to put a Wide Body Kit on this. I'm sure any company making a Wide Body for the Camaro would make a splitter that fits with it.

But in all reality, this kit is for styling not so much for tracking the car. Personally I'm more for subtle ground effects than winglets and such.

Seems from the description, that the winglets are optional. And that there may be two different sizes available.

I really would like to see it on a real car before I can really say anything. I am digging mainly the spoiler which in the press release it does say:

Rear Deck spoiler
Replacement integrated spoilers. Installs using either the SS or RS mounting pattern.

Which to me sounds like they will make 1 for the RS and one for the SS which is really good news but personally, it looks like it might be a little overkill, not subtle enough to pass as OEM. With all this... I may just spend the money and buy a v6/2.0T trunk lid with the oem blade... waiting on seeing what 6LE Design has in store though.

Love the spoiler. If they offer it and it covers the stock SS holes, I will probably snag this one over the GM 1LE/Dove tail, ZL1 or Z/28 spoilers.

That is the plan for ACS.

I like the look of this a lot. The spoiler looks better than any offering from GM right now and goes well with the existing body lines, including the angles down the recess for the license plate in the stock rear bumper cover. Definitely C7 inspired, but since the 6th gen Camaro was inspired by the C7, it all works.

Unfortunately, I'm skeptical about whether it will look as good in person when it's done. This is obviously a rendering, and I've seen plenty of sick renderings for aftermarket parts on the 5th gen that ended up looking much worse in person once real world limitations came into play. Even the image of the Camaro itself, sans aero kit, looks better than the Camaro does in person. It makes it look wider from those angles than it really is.

Also interesting is that they used to make parts for the 4th gen Camaro for GM. Never tried any of their products because their offerings on the 5th gen were never quite my style. That's why I am interested to see what the aero kit actually ends up looking like after production.
