Suspension Guess

So is the new FE4 going to have multiple settings, one setting or track and street settings?

I'm guessing Track and Street only

My guess is it will have the same setting as the SS.

I am with Eric, all settings from SS but also different track settings like the c6 MRC, like sport , sport 1 etc.

We know it has E-LSD, I am willing to bet stiffer and larger sway bars and beefier axles over the SS.

Any guesses whether shocks are going to be monotube or twin tube? Steel or aluminum shock bodies? It would be awesome (but highly unlikely) if they would come with a height adjustable springs which would allow for corner-balancing.

I feel its a safe bet that it will retain the standard modes from the SS. Snow/Ice, Tour, Sport, and Track.

However, what will be different is the Performance Traction Management modes. Likely you will set the car to Track mode, then use the traction control button to enter the PTM modes. Then use the rocker mode switch to change between PTM modes. I believe that is how its done on the Corvette systems.

R&T has an old article explaining how the PTM system worked on the old C6 ZR1 and laid down some test times with Corvette Racing's Tommy Milner behind the wheel. Below is their explanation of each mode of PTM.

3 Sport

4 Sport

For use in dry conditions by drivers familiar with the track. The same level of engine torque is available as in Mode 3. Yaw control is disabled.

5 Race

For use in dry conditions by experienced drivers familiar with the track. This mode requires more driver skill than all the other modes. Available engine torque is maximized for cornering speed. Yaw control is disabled.

Off

Stability control of all types is disabled.
Only ABS remains active.

According to this video, it looks like PTM will be activated by 2 presses of the traction/stabilitrak button. Once its activated possibly the mode rocker switch will be used to cycle through the PTM modes.

They've already confirmed higher rates on the sway bars and specific MRC tuning but I've not seen anything official on springs, bushings, axles, modes?

If by modes you mean what I posted above, PTM has indeed been confirmed on the 1LE.
