Changing Rear Gears on Gen6 V6?
Is this something that is a no brainer? Nothing new - same old, same old?
Or are we looking at something totally new? 3.27 just seems - Boring  Options? Where should I look for info? Thanks. (I don;t care about mileage - I get 12MPG with my truck) |

i'd be interested in swapping the manual's lsd into the automatic even if the gear ratio was the same.

I have the manual with 3.73's and I'm seriously thing about making a set of 4.10's my next upgrade. I've done cat back custom exhaust already. I believe this is the same 8.6" rearend that's in the gen 5.

My v6 a8 is on the 2.77 by the time i finally shift into 3rd i'm going over 70, I would be happy with the 3.27 out of the 2liter, but I'm watching this area very closely for some real gearing options
