I was gonna wait but the discounts are starting to roll in now. Including dealer discount, two rebates and private offer I got 6500 off A 2016. The Car has a march build. So far so good. Fingers crossed. Dealer said they could not do those kinds of discounts in the first few months on the 17s and I needed a car by June.

I DID notice that the prices have drastically went down. The issues I have been seeing are sad!! But with an almost 7000 price drop heck who cares..

I would keep an eye out for more incentive money on 2016s in about a week or so. Probably $1500. Then if you have an existing lease another $500 then try to score a private offer for $1000. I think the conquest incentive just ended. All of those will stack on top of any dealer discount you can muster.

Production improvements are always ongoing. There should be no difference between a late build '16 and early build '17. It's the same car

Agreed. I think the main difference is the folks helping to build them have gained some more experience by now to help reduce the amount of human error.

that, or they have gotten complacent and more prone to neglect. there is not win here. just buy one and don't worry so much about it. warranties are your friends.

There's a good chance even if you place an order today, it could be August before a '17 is delivered to you. Something to consider.

You should buy now, then you can be really happy when they discount them 15% later this year.

Any year model can and will have issues... That's what recall / customer satisfaction program / warranty is for, plus it's all free.
