So far it's been the easiest car buying experience I've ever had, this being my fourth new vehicle purchase (all Chevy and my second Camaro but first time ordering).

Had I known 5 years ago what I know now, I'd have done my '12 through her too but I didn't join the forums until after I bought it. Live and learn as they say.

Becky -- I spoke with my dealer yesterday about my order and he said he had allocation. Can you check on this again today. I don't want to believe he would flat out lie to me, but I need to be sure before to much time passes. Order TMBX1X.

Just a reminder that order cycles run from Thursday to Tuesday so if you just placed an order you may not see it get picked up until the cycle closes so if the order hasn't changed status yet I wouldn't worry much until after Tuesday. Of course if you're obsessed like we are, that won't stop you.

fsusmithc2, I feel your pain.. I also ordered from a local dealer who promised me a Camaro in 8-12 weeks and never budged from 1100 status. I found Camaro 6 Forum only after I ordered. Once inside the forum I learned so much I didn’t know about the ordering process... After 8 weeks (trying to see if they would come thru) and when they didn't... I cancelled my order and ordered thru Rodgers Chevrolet and have had the best car buying experience I could ask for.
