Reverse tilt mirror

Has anyone used the "reverse tilt mirror" function in the vehicle settings? It's kinda cool and I can see where it's be useful but I don't know if you can adjust how low the mirrors tilt when backing up. I tried it today and the mirrors seemed to drop too low.

I have it setup but I have not used it once. The backup camera does the trick, I have a pretty good faith in the lines.

Works great. Put one of those round spot mirrors on the outside edge of the mirror if you want a real wide angle view of what's going on..

it works great for parking by curbs, but otherwise, it makes reversing annoying, limiting your field of view, unless you want to put all your trust on the camara.

I use to have some of those on my GTO side mirrors. Improved visibility alot, esp the blind spots.

I had it like 10 years ago in my '01 BMW 325, and have it setup in my SS. Came in handy when I had to parallel park for the first time in decades. Only need to set it for passenger side.....Works great

I thought I would use it to park close to curbs, but I hate when it kicks on for normal reversing, therefor i leave it off and i just park carefully. or i manually adjust the mirrors when i need to

Ditto.

I originally saw it and thought "cool!" so i set it for both, then the first time you back up you realize how annoying it is when you're not actually parking next to a curb. So I set it to just the passenger side since there's no need on the driver's.

Yup, like em or not they do help a lot with the visibility issues we have with this car...(dipping mirror or not)

Did not know about this feature. Gonna set it up right now. Itll def be helpful.

Are there any other "hidden" features like this in the 2SS?

I've used the round blind spot mirrors Modshack has and liked them. Functionally they work good. If you want something smaller or a different shape Car Mate makes a few that could flow with the mirror shape on the Camaro.
