4 - An instrument cluster cover that wasn't as big as a small suit case.

1 and 2 have thus far kept me from wanting to own.

Keep in mind guys the ATS does have a DOHC engine with Twin Turbos mounted between the cyclinder heads. A OHV V8 is simply longer and narrower.

I also believe the ATS and Camaro share some common sheet metal under the skin. So no one should be believing the visibility out of a Camaro is a badge of honor caused by the coolness of the car. They were conscious choices for styling. As for my trunk and back seat? Those would have added some mass but for me a welcome trade off to not require the rear seat to be folded to accommodate golf clubs all summer.

They chose a high belt line (the ATS is also high, fyi just not as high) and the high hips that made the quarter glass even smaller.

And the Camaro is over an inch shorter than an ATS coupe.

You value golf that much over an entire cars purchase? lol

Golf is expensive. Cut your golf time down and buy a second vehicle, problem solved.

I really wish the HUD had a auto dimming function for when driving at night/early in the morning. Its annoying to have to constantly adjust the brightness up and down.

-Seats that would recline a bit more
-A bigger space in the center console
-metal pedals (should be standard on SS models) instead of the cheap rubber ones
-Taking that dang skip shift feature off

Yep, I play 3 times a week, take multiple road trips to golf on weekends during the year and our 3 vacations per year are with golf clubs and we drive instead of flying.

They will fit if you leave the rear seat folded down, but then you have essentially a hatchback with all the noise from the rear end.

And they missed it by about 1" for the 45" drivers common today. A 44" driver will apparently fit.

That is why for me the Camaro has approached Corvette territory and become a 3rd car not a DD.

Hey to each their own.. Sucks it doesn't fit your lifestyle.. I'm sure there is another alternative, but huge bummer.

Mode selector that is a dial instead of a toggle switch. I bump it with my wrist and change the modes. The golf club issue was disappointing for me as well, missed it by an inch, but also can only get one bag in there. Nice car to show up to the golf course with but can't carry all the clubs. Badging on the front passenger dash would have been a nice touch.

For me a fully loaded 2SS should have come with 1 more feature:

-Radar assisted cruise control maybe even w/ brake assist
(both Mustang and Challenger have this)

As far as problems all gen 6's could have resolved:

- Better visibility and head room! Lower the damn belt line GM we aren't looking to daily drive a chop top hot rod!
- Better interior storage (Door pockets and center console)
- ditch the charging pad (gimmicky)
- relocate the onstar buttons from the mirror. Dangerously looks like an emergency vehicle coming up behind you, from the corner of your eye.
- Allow increased seat recline, at least for the passenger.
- clean up the rear seat latch design. (strap is tacky and very conspicuous)
- Tilt the My link screen back up. I understand the logic behind preventing glare but its not worth the odd feel.
- relocate the mode and traction control buttons, dangerously close to where drivers may rest their arm.

This last one is more personal taste, but...

- Give us a 1 touch sport exhaust button. It would be great to just quickly switch to a sport mode exhaust for a tunnel or turn it off quickly for a drive through order. Digging through the my link to individually set the exhaust without changing via the mode selector takes longer than a 1 touch button would.

This is nearly an exact list of what I would want. ESPECIALLY the bullet about the RED & BLUE Onstar lights on the rearview mirror. I took my '16 RS V6 home a couple days ago and kept panicking when I would catch the red and blues in my mirror. I hope I get used to them!

This grip, storage (especially for the larger phones on the market now), and visibility are my main beefs so far. Otherwise, I'm 95% blown away by this car!

I wish it had a hand hold indent on the underside of the trunk lid to assist in lowering the trunk without having to use the painted surfaces to pull the trunk lid down!

The hips aren't high at all; resulting in the trunk being no higher than the hood. There's a ton of space between the quarter glass and the hips.

Don't think we are looking at the same Camaro.

Not everyone shares your passion for golf. I personally hate it. It's petty, snobby, and elitist to not buy this car because your clubs don't fit.
