Will there be multiple wheel options?

I think you gents must be getting a little tired of posting on the 3 active threads over and over so here is something a little different...

Title pretty much says it. I am apparently the only person here who doesn't like the stock wheels but there it is, I don't like them. Too fussy looking and they would be a pain to wash. I hate washing cars. So, are we getting multiple wheel options? If so are there any pictures of the other wheels?

Based on history, yes. Based on reality, who knows yet. Haven't heard for sure when they will release options and pricing, someone here might know.

You're not the only one

I'd prefer clearer version, alu or chrom.

There were 3 wheels on display at the NYAS. Zone polished and the other two black or graphite. The wheels were a five spoke design and one was accented with a red stripe. This was on the ZL1 display do I would say it's safe to assume you could get them if you order the car. Like everything else the only thing for sure is uncertainty.

Glad i'm not the only one, impatiently trying to be patient... just not very patiently. Wake me up when September starts.

Those were SS accessory wheels. They will not maintain the factory tire sizes for the ZL1 if used on that car.

We haven't heard anything about ZL1 options, yet...just guesses based on what we've seen in reveals/announcements...like Carbon fiber hood, strips, dash panel...Last generation had an alternate wheel...but this time around the "light weighted ness" might be enough to justify a single wheel option...perhaps different finishes?

I would love the 1LE wheels on the ZL1.Wasn't that an option on the last gen?

Technically...the ZL1 came first, so the 1LE used "ZL1 wheels".

Add me to the list of people that don't like the stock 2017 ZL1 rims. They are too busy and spokey. It ends up looking less aggressive/badass and more elegant/too beautiful. I personally prefer both last gen ZL1 rims and the 2016 SS five spoke over these busy mess super spokes ZL1s. The new 1LE rims look would be amazing. The rims and insistence on having a wing spoiler were my main disappointments with the otherwise amazing looking ZL1.

Count me another 1LE wheel fan, a nice clean look that IMO matches the cars character better than the overblown styled by committee wheel they're showing on the car.

You may not like it...but it was designed by one guy...not a committee....

I was referring to its look rather than saying it literally. The vibe I get is a mental conglomeration of too fussy, couldn't put the pencil down, too many voters on the committee, couldn't decide so they combined two wheels, something along that line. I do recognize that I'm far and away in the minority here as until this thread I hadn't read a single negative comment about them and I thought myself alone in disliking them.
