Well all this talk with out knowing the DA is useless...the 60' isn't that bad, so a tire isn't going to magically pick up four or five tenths. The low mph makes me think the DA was bad...how were other cars running? Remember crappy air effects a naturally aspirated engine much more than forced induction.

I looked at the DA calculator...did you happen to go on Friday May 6th? You said it was 83 in the evening, I see temps close to that then at that track. If that is the right date and such the DA was terrible at around 2300. That would mean your 12.70 @ 110 in 0 DA would be about a 12.35 @ 113...pretty inline to where it should be.

I've been seeing this more and more now that we have good data, air quality makes a HUGE difference with these cars.

I was gonna say that without DA and a slip their are 2 likely scenarios ;

You lifted before the line or

You bought a turd and should have bought a white one (jk)

I use this (and anybody who drag races should too): http://airdensityonline.com/tracks/

You can pick your track and it gives full DA forecasts. If I see the DA is going to be shitty (over 1000) I won't even bother going to the track. Living in FL I sometimes have to take what I can get though. I have never had the luxury of running in anything below about 300 or so. My buddy in NJ has negative DA at times at Acto, makes me jelly.

I've had as bad as 3900 at mine, and it's only 50' above sea level lol...I try to keep my racing to the winter when the DA is usually around 500 or so here. Which is pretty good...this time of year it averages just below 2000 unless a nice front comes through.

Yea see here we gotta deal with terrible air. I made my 8.16 with a 3800 DA. Normally on a Saturday points race I'm looking at 4200+

And even with our FL DA in the triple digits, we still can have issues with overall air quality and humidity. Also, we get condensate building up on all surfaces after a hot day turns into a cool night. Great for traction! Lol. I feel your pain, SS 1LE.
