Maybe GM is considering a 2SS 1LE?

If so, then I am willing to wait for another 5 months hahahaha.

But isn't the GS available right off the bat? GM said from day one the 1LE packages are forth quarter.

Not saying you, but I'm not sure why so many keep saying they are tired of waiting or when is it coming out, etc...GM told us when. October at the earliest folks...

Congrats on the new ride, they are awesome cars. I have almost 40K miles on mine in 22 months. Now a 1LE would be a great addition to your SS Sedan.

The new 1LE packages are available in late 2016, on 2017 Camaro SS and LT V-6 coupes equipped with manual transmissions. Pricing and performance data will be announced at a later date.

Late 2016 = 4th quarter, 4th quarter starts in October.

Though...at the unveil, they alluded to pricing and ordering information being released during the summer. We shall see!

I couldn't wait anymore. I bought a 2016 Chevrolet SS sedan with a manual transmission. Very nice car, most don't know about it and you hardly ever see them on the road. Not discounting the 1LE for good, but I'll wait a few years and enjoy the SS in the meantime. It would also make a great daily whenever it is I decide to get a 1LE.

I kinda did the same thing a few days ago. Bought something different as I couldn't wait any longer. In fact, bought the same thing you did except an auto! My wife's lease is up on her Q60S in January 2018. So I figured, I'll be able to get the 1LE as a 2018 model. Maybe a few things will change for MY18. I'll just trade one sports coupe for another. My wife will be fine with it (hopefully hehe).

Hey man, I didn't know you were on here to! I saw your thread on SSforums on the car you bought, it's beautiful. I commented in the thread also.

Congratulations on the SS! If my Pontiac G8 GT is any indication, I think I'm gonna love this car. How do you like yours so far?

Haha, small world with GM fans I guess. The funny thing is I don't really know how I like it yet. I drove it from the dealership home at night on Monday and parked it in the garage. Then I had to leave for business Tuesday morning with a company car so I haven't even seen the SS since I parked it. I have had zero time to adjust anything or play around with anything I did bring the owners manual with me so I spent all night reading through that beast. Heading back home today so I should get some time to play around with some of its gadgets tonight. How do you like yours? How about compared to your G8? What color?

Wow that sucks, you must be itching to drive it. I didn't take delivery of mine yet, I pick her up on Friday. From what I've read, it's just like the G8, except better in every way, maybe except for looks (which is subjective). My G8 was "Panther Black Metallic" and my Chevy SS is "Phantom Black Metallic" lol. It's identical to yours, except with a manual.

The beer bottles? Why? :derp:

Very nice. I've been tempted to move on to an SS also, just a bit more grown up. Loved my G8GT, but there were some things that just didn't sit well with me, like the 40k replacement LCAs, wobbly crank, etc...

They are all different. I collect them from my travels.

I highly suggest you drive the SS of you are thinking of it. I fell in love with it. 1LE will need to wait another year : )

Well, bitching about it on here isn't going to make it happen any sooner.

I have no doubt that the 1LE pricing will be posted here mere seconds once released.

Of course not. But bitching about it makes the waiting less painful.
