Congrats. We all need to post pics as we receive them. Mine was born May 3rd as well. Dealer ordering department called today to tell me my car is supposed to be here by the 16th and I'm in Florida. A few cars in our group was built on 5/2 and are closer to the factory so maybe they will get them sooner.

Mine was built a little early, but it looks like it will be a while before I get it. Convertibles have to go through build verifications which of course takes longer.

I might even be able to pick mine up by the end of the week, but I want to try and find a private offer first. My dealer told me yesterday morning that it's already been shipped, so it might even be there already. Gonna have to do a quick drive-by after work! GET HYPE!

I'm still waiting, mine has not been built yet. I ordered a convertible so maybe that's the hold up. I just talk to my dealer he has nothing new to say and the customer service chat at Chevrolet.com seems to get pissed if I ask the status more the once a day SO I'M STILL WAITING

Private offer is where you know you're buying your car you go to gm's website search around then if you can get the offer top pop up it will then have you enter info then you will get an email with a PO basically saves you $1,000.00

From what I've read the vert buyers are delayed for QC holds from a couple weeks to as much as 8 weeks.

Status's are only updated once a day, so asking at different times will yield you the same answer.

My dealer said something about QC when I talked to him earlier today but he made it seem like they only take random cars there. But I do have a convertible so maybe that's the hold up. I was hoping to get my car this week with a tpw 5-2-16 and I live in Michigan but it doesn't look like it.

I hope it's just a random thing and they got it all worked out so everyone in our group gets our cars by memorial day.
