I was looking at your signature line on what you ordered. Did you order the blade spoiler, or did you just go with the stock spoiler?

Stock wing. It is my understanding the am/fm radio antenna is in the wing on convertibles.

Oh that's right, I forgot about that. I also ordered the Blue Velvet Metallic (1SS, A8, MRC, NPP, Grey interior, no stripes, etc...) Absolutely love this color. I ordered the black wheels and black bowties, which I think goes very well with the dark blue...

Is it in the center "pillar" of the spoiler? if so, then that would explain why Chevy went from 2 pillars to 3 all across the SS, screwing us swappers in the process.

Never thought I'd say it but after seeing it I like the stock spoiler better. I agree that it is plain looking and thought it would be bigger and more aggressive looking.

I love the sleekness of the spoiler!
It is not as aggressive as the blade/Z28 style spoiler I sported on my 2014 SS though. I do not like my stock spoiler on my 16 SS at all, but I will have to wait and see aftermarket options.

Wow, I just learned something new then... So all convertibles get the wing, even LT1/2? I wonder ... If I don't care at all about AM/FM radio (seriously, I never listen to the radio), any chance Chevy will accept an order for a convertible with the blade?

EDIT: OK, that last one is a dumb question... Sorry, I'm just in shock/denial to hear this... Another good reason to work with Becky when the time comes to place my order. I know that if it's possible to get a blade spoiler on a convertible, she'll be the one who can make it happen... Thanks for the info!

Is that the same spoiler that comes on the RS package? Looks like the one mine came with. Fits the car perfectly.

The RS spoiler is a dimple, not a blade.

I'm honestly 50/50 in it. I think some colors can rock the original while some cannot.

On the 5th Gen, I believe the AM/FM radio antenna was mounted horizontally in the convertible spoiler, which was more "blade-like" in appearance; i.e., no pillars.

It is possible that Chevy routes the signal cable from the antenna to the head unit through that center pillar, but I can't confirm.

P.S. Love the ash gray metallic paint with Kalahari tan interior. That would be "my" color combo, if I were to buy a 6th Gen.
