Not actually a new member

I was a member (JerseyMonte) when i got my 2010 SS , But forgive me i traded it for a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 , Now im back in a 2016 1SS The Boss was ok considering its smaller displacement 302. had the red key track pack, used to like dialing in the lumpy idle. Great to be back

Nice welcome back, i'm somewhat new here although I did have a 2010 bumblebee look alike camaro in 2010. What was your total score for the mustang as far as pedestrian takeouts leaving car meets? lol j/k. Show us some pics of your new 2016 SS congrats on the car!

New 2016 2SS Camaro A8, NPP, NAV Yellow

I have had my car 2 weeks and want to make it a Transformer Auto Bot found on Amazon the original emblems. This car runs awesome.

Question: I have a android phone so took my car to the dealer for android auto play to be installed like the GM My link website said to. The Dealer took 3 hrs and said it was done just plug in your phone and download the android auto play app so I did. So got in my car and started home it was about closing at the dealer on a Friday. The app worked OK, but my on board navigation GPS had a red X on it, so no on board GPS. I called MY link and the tech said the dealers download must have messed up my on board navigation. So I took it back for a reload, the dealer 2hrs later said I would have to drive it 25 miles for the GPS to work. I found out all he did was call onstar and reboot everything. I don't believe he reloaded the software. I have drove it 60 miles and it still does not work.

Does anyone know how to fix this other than go back to the dealer?

Ok, so heres my concerns. This will be my ONLY car and a daily driver. Is anyone else using this as their only method of transportation? The trunk is silly and smaller than some convertibles Ive seen. Im again fearing I might not be able to get as much done with this trunk on a daily driver as I expect. Also, winter driving. In NJ here we have been lucky in that when we do get snow, its usually a hard wallop and you cant drive for a day but then its cleared decently enough to drive.
I have a car on order so factor that into my reply. Outward visibility is a matter of perspective. My last car was a 370Z and the rearward visibility and visibility out the rear side windows is better in the Camaro. We are the same height and when I sat in a sunroof car at SEMA I didn't like it right away due to how much head room it took away. It wasn't a priority option for me anyway but that made the decision easier.

This will be my only car, I had the same trunk concern so I brought my hockey bag to the second test drive. The trunk opening is small and it wasn't a slam dunk to get it in there, but once it was it was fine. By the way I really like the auto as well and I've had mostly manuals.

I'm in Southern CA, what's this "winter driving" you speak of?

Not really. The interface on the cadillac was very difficult to use with the metal strips. There was nothing tactile with the volume controls or changing channels. Everything was a guess as to if you were hitting it correctly and if you werent, thats more time taking your eyes off the road. The mylink was super intuitive and the hard function buttons below it make it that much better from a touch perspective.

Yes, basically the same screen and backend, but the front end interpretation is very different.
