Sadly even on the railcar they could just sit for days without movement. With me it was the railcar itself that needed repair. Thank G-d it only took them about 24h to get it back on the road (or rail )

I went to the dealer today to complete the financing and whatnot...it didn't go so well. We went in planning to lease, and it started downhill with the payment being 50/month higher than what i was quoted (didn't sign anything) when I ordered it in March...upon asking why, my wife and I were told that the residual has dropped and the interest rate has increased :( We were pretty annoyed, and after we couldn't get straight answers about why the drive off fees were also higher we just left. I still really want the car, but maybe I should just get a 6yr loan on it since the lease seems less beneficial now. I just can't believe that if I signed my financing 2 months ago I would have gotten a much better deal. Are the residual and money factor numbers that I can verify somehow?

That's awesome, I won't know until later this week. I should have had the dealer set up my OnStar, however I'm not sure they would have been able to figure that one out. The sales manager is a good guy but the salesman in not so sure about. He tried telling me that all 1SS and 1LT's only came with manuals and the 2LT and 2SS only came in auto. I tried informing him but he wouldn't listen, even after I told him that he had a 1LT auto in the parking lot...

I wouldn't have thought that the train would have moved on a Sunday, but hey that's good for you and hopefully me.

Yep, just went through Toledo. Looks like I'm in a railyard south of it. This is so fun watching every step and knowing exactly where it is

Pretty bad when you know more about the vehicle than the salesman

Capisce,

Where's the car at? Have you called your dealer to get a railcar number?

Gotcha, thanks

Since I can't use Becky now to track, I told the dealer that I'd wait until Wednesday to check on it.

Just went from 4B00 to 4200 "CHARLOTTE MI - RAIL - ETTX715394 - - TO - MIRA LOMA CA/ CN NORTH AMERICA"

Not sure what exactly that means, but it looks like it finally started moving.

Lol, when abbreviations result in negative connotations. Seeing Chrysler "assy" complex on the map probably makes you glad you bought Chevy, eh?
