Think positive. At least not a major accident. This can be fix.

that's awful . happened to me once. some witnesses came into a little restaurant in a mini mall and said someone hit my camaro and left. it left a slight crease in the door. i think i found the person but i didn't have proof.

You are lucky they did the right thing - sucks to have to say that but in my reality, a lot of people don't give a damn about other people, especially respecting other people's property.

I feel ya man, some backed into my front bumper while i was at work and they ran. No one saw them. They chipped the paint off a corner and scratched the heck out of the bumper. I have a $500 deductible and it will cost me $550 to repair. What use is insurance if i am not going to use it,lol.

I'm still floored that she came in to tell you, at a burger king no less. I've been reading a few posts here about people eating inside pizza huts, burger kings, etc... have not done that in 10 years/end of college. Roadtrips are a diff story though...

All great suggestions - thanks for your input! We have an inspection tomorrow with her insurance company. Will update if/when they get her to admit guilt and the insurance company then accepts liability. If not, there's always our insurance with a $250.00 deductible, and then we'll let them go after her. Our 2010 2SS that we traded in got sprayed with rock from a jackhammer just before we traded it in (working right next to a highway off ramp), and we got pictures, statements from the crew, the whole nine yards, but were told by the supervisor it was "just slurry" and it would not have chipped our windshield or dented the hood and chipped all the way through our rally stripe (the car was perfect before this happened). So we filed through our insurance ($0 deductible on comprehensive) and are letting them go after the !*#* construction company. That's what we pay them for, right?

Im wondering does people talk in the real world like they type on this forum? I can see it now. "Excuse me, but is that your black car?" OP "Why yes. That is my 2SS." Lol

Sorry about your fender bender. Looks minor, and the women did come and find you. If she was planning on screwing you, she probably would have just left.

I file the police report every time, here it required for over 500 and there is almost nothing that is going to be less than 500 when it comes to body work. The way I see it anyone that tries to talk me out of it is only giving me more reason to call.

I have been considering running one of those camera setups like you see them using in Russia and other places overseas where the car continuously records front, back, and both sides around the clock. It can at least be used to prove you were hit.

We were just talking the day before about getting a camera installed, for just this reason. I guess better late than never! Checked with Burger King, and their camera covers only the back parking lot, stopping just two spaces shy of where ours was parked. They also told me the police usually will not file a report if it happened in their lot, as it's on private property.
