Sorry to hear that but glad you noticed them before you took delivery! From other posts on this forum, it looks like you're unfortunately not the only one that found issues with the mosaic black paint.

I've read the other threads and my issues aren't with the paint. The swirl marks were caused by someone careless at the dealership trying to prep the car for delivery. And the scratch was just a scratch. Had nothing to do with the paint color. From what I've seen, the paint look looks fine. I paid a lot of attention to it after reading some of the horror stories on here. I just wish the dealership would have been more careful when they prepped my car.

FML

Mine had more than $2000 worth of damage from the hail storms that rolled through San Antonio where it was on a truck ready to be delivered to me in Austin. Anything more than $800 gets returned and is considered "undeliverable".

Now I have to settle for something nearby that the dealer can bring in, or start the whole process over again...................

That really sucks. Considering how long the wait has been I'd be more likely to see if a similar car to what you ordered is available somewhere instead of waiting at least another 2 months.

Just got word - my car was "randomly chosen" for a quality inspection. Sigh - guess I know it'll be perfect once it gets here next year.

If indifferent about this. Part of me thinks it's peace of mind knowing your car won't have any issues. Other side of me would be disappointed having to keep waiting another month or so

Yea - it's definitely a double-edged sword. I'm disappointed now that I'll have to wait longer, but I'm sure once it gets on a train I'll have more peace of mind.

My car was built 4/4 ready to ship 6/4 and has not moved. I cannot get anyone to give me an honest answer about whats going on. Anyone else around this time frame whose car has not moved yet?
