I am going to do the same myself if there is no fix and taking a hit of $400 with it...

I just ordered mine the other day....it hasn't come in yet. Maybe next week... Fingers crossed.

Anyone have any ideas whats causing the whistle? Possible air leak in a corner? Sound generator/tube blowing out from more airflow?

No idea but I too will either remove it or replace it when roto or afe hits market. I honestly just want a CAI sans the angry tea kettle :P

I thought it was only 2 or 3 people....sounds like a bad batch or something...but what sucks the most is I just ordered mine 2 days ago

take off sound tube, see if it fixed the issue, it is a toy anyway.

Awesome! I dont want a different intake I want the CAI one. Just want it to work....quieter. Thanks for being cool about it

I have sent the best vids I could with my phone already and the pics they asked for. I have tested this with the enclosure lid off and with the enclosure entirely removed and the filter just hanging there. Noise persists.
