I'm leaning towards the MRT V2 axle back at this point, but haven't heard a GM yet. I got time still though. Patience is a virtue, lol.

It is almost identical to the loud setting on NPP now, yet at interstate speed it acts like the quiet setting on NPP.....

I've been driving with the GM performance exhaust now for a few days, here is my impression:

Sound: Sounds great! More bass frequency than stock, good startup bark, takes everything good about the stock sound and turns it up a bit
Volume: Not very loud, maybe 20% louder than stock, and still well behaved at lower RPMS
Price: Whoah! I got the dealer to throw it in, otherwise you're paying about two to three times what an aftermarket kit would cost.
Final thoughts: Most people are buying this kit to keep the warranty intact. If that is not important to you, don't get this kit. If it is, then this is a great product for you albeit a high priced one

I've been on a lot of forums, owned a lot of cars. I've yet to see a set of mufflers mess with your warranty...paranoia runs deep here though..

Agreed....but its not THAT much more. Its a Borla produuct, which are always a bit higher. Mine was $860 and the MRT IS 600.

Compared to Borla you're right, but if you're looking at a lesser known pair of mufflers there is no price comparison

Again true, but the welds and plating is very apparent on the borla than less priced systems, this is important to some , not to others but nevertheless is the difference.....look at a borla tip vs others, it's apparent. Again, you may or may not want to pay for this, i dont think price FIRST when buying a component for my hobby, the $200 diff is not a factor.
