I forgot an LPO part and want to order it now but the dealer was kind of clueless about that. Is that something the parts department should be able to handle? They were saying t wasn't able to be ordered separately right at the moment.

How much did you pay for the wheels?

$2000? Don't know when they arrive, but reports are generally a week or two before the car.

Lower than $2000? They are mounted on the car at the factory.

Service S**ks, they do not care cause they did not buy it!
Well I would say they owe you. Open up a claim with GM Customer Service. It would be on the dealers dime to *fix* the non-delivery of your, not their, parts.

It seems there is some back and forth on this. Respected and honest dealers (Becky) say they provide the original parts when LPO options are installed. Others have said the dealer conveniently "destroys" the original parts once the LPO part is put on.

Is it correct that you are entitled to receive the original parts when the dealer removes them and installs an LPO option?

My dealer claimed that they had to send all original parts back to GM. However, I always see full factory wheel/tire sets in their parts department.

It happens here also....the wheels they sell are stolen. Lawsuits should be filed. Dealers are such scum around here.

So...you are looking to get something after you have ordered and taken delivery? Your parts dept. would be of service to that as LPO items are 99% the items you can get through GM accessories or Chevrolet Performance.

What in particular are you looking for?
