Chances are that we here know more than the dealer does at this point. Any Recall, or customer satisfaction campaign takes months to choreograph. Between Notification, parts stocking to handle the response etc. I'd be surprised if you get any notification within a month or two..

Just got my 2SS last week and it's on the list. Ill have to check if it has etched or raised lettering on the pan.
On a side note, I noticed my tires were made in the 2nd week of November. So I'm assuming that the car was made sometime in early december??? (Im not sure what the time frame is between, tires made at the Goodyear factory to used on a build.) Is there any way to find out exactly when the car was built? Mine wasn't a order, it was found at a dealer in the config I was looking for. |

Mine was produced in January, no raised letters on the oil pan. Just for reference.

#126034 was on the recall list, I dropped it off this morning. I just talked to the dealer, it did not have the faulty part, so I will get my baby back this afternoon. Since I was taking it in to get the Android update done anyway, I didn't bother looking myself.
Props to the dealer, they are doing a complimentary wash/detail on the interior and exterior. Reliable Chevrolet of Springfield Mo has been good to me so far. Especially considering I looked at new Camaros there but wound up buying elsewhere. |

I had mine inspeced this morning after my VIN was listed for the recall. My car passed the inspection and didn't need the oil pan and pick up tube replaced. Took about two hours to complete. And they gave me a fully loaded Tahoe to use while I waited. Not bad at all.
