Yeah, couldnt hear anything unusual. Were the windows open? Can you only hear it with the windows open or can you hear it with them closed too?

Open/closed does not matter. You can hear it from some distance outside the car as confirmed by a friend of mine. People whip their heads around when I pass by them : /

Is this when you are on throttle, releasing throttle, or just cruising? Have you had an intake on a car before(I know its silly but have to ask)?

OK so it is only under load (this does not happen whilst revving in place) 25-35% throttle accelerating. I have owned many cars with many diff intakes. The car did not do this with the stock airbox. I know the normal hiss and such aftermarket intakes normally make. This is however my first v8 and Camaro. Once I punch down on it 50-100% throttle all I hear is the normal air noise and growl.

Thats some good information there. One thing I am thinking is that it could be the throttle body butterfly is in a certain angle at that 25-35% creating the whistle that can only be heard now that you have an open air element on there.

Just speculation on my part though since its not heard when pushing further down on the pedal.

Yeah I had this thought as well tbh. I hope this is not the case though.
