My trial expired today, I did the chat, so I have a fresh 12 months now.

I was stupid enough to chat with them like a week after I got my car so I only got an extra week out of XM :(

Looks like I should have waited to call my dealer, I now have 12 months from today just 2 weeks after purchase.

I chatted with them and was told nothing they could do until my 3 months expired, then I have to call back (chat) and ask again and they will give me 9 more months. :(

Sent an email to customer service. They wanted the make/model/year of the car (which I had already provided) along with "proof" of the 12 month trial. Sent them a copy of my window sticker. We'll see how this goes.

Hey everyone, Mike here. Don't waste your time going back and forth between XM and the dealer. My salesman didn't even know what I was talking about when I called him, he insisted it was a 3 month trial. Go straight to GM's infotainment at 855-478-7767. They will connect you straight to XM's dealer services. The lady who answered my call at XM told me she knew about this and told me the regular customer service doesn't have access to the code needed to set up a 12 month trial and most of the dealers don't even realize the 2016 Camaro is supposed to come with 12 months of all access XM. She cancelled my three month trial and added a 12 month trial and sent me a e-mail confirmation. It was all done in 5 mins. I made at least 6 or 7 calls trying to get a XM supervisor to handle it but they didn't know anything about it to do anything.

Well, what do you know. Just got an email from SiriusXM. They upgraded my 3 month trial to 12 months expiring 4/1/2017. So they gave me an extra month and a half.

Now I'm waiting to find out what is going to happen with the remaining balance from the vehicle I traded. My account shows a balance of -$90.28. Refund or credit for renewal in 2017. It really doesn't matter. Just want the confirmation in writing for future reference.

Done. Just got an email from XM. Balance will be applied to next renewal in 2017. Works for me.

Just left dealer in my new car!!!!

All is well, except for the 3 month only!! Lol

I literally just used the "super secret" number listed above and it worked. Bought the car in March and told by XM that it had a "3 month" trial. Now after calling the number, the trial starts as a year subscription from today!

Just got mine done today.....Dealer called Sirius and put me in on the 3 way call. Took 5 minutes, Done.

I was 2 months in on the original. New 12 month effective today and showed immediately on my Sirius account online..
